What being a gestational surrogate actually involves, and what you are entitled to from us.
Medical care
All your medical care is paid for, from the first tests through your antenatal visits, the delivery and your recovery afterwards. You are seen by qualified fertility specialists at our partner hospitals.
Legal protection
You have your own lawyer, independent of the intended parents. Every agreement is explained to you clearly, and you are given time to read it and ask questions before you sign anything.
Emotional support
Carrying for another family is a big thing, and you will have someone to talk to throughout. Counselling and support sessions are there whenever you need them.
Financial security
Your compensation, medical costs, travel and childcare are covered, and the amounts are written into your agreement before anything starts. No surprises.
Healthcare access
Regular check-ups throughout the pregnancy, with doctors who are experienced in surrogacy pregnancies.
Open communication
You will know who you are carrying for, and they will know you. How much you speak is for the two of you to decide, and we agree it at the start so nobody is guessing. Some families stay in touch for years. Others keep it simple. Both are fine.
Requirements
Surrogacy requirements
These exist to protect you first and the pregnancy second. If you are unsure whether you qualify, apply anyway and our coordinator will tell you honestly.
Age & health
- Aged between 21 and 40
- Healthy BMI, typically 18 to 32
- No history of pregnancy complications
- Regular menstrual cycles
- No smoking, drug use or heavy alcohol use
Pregnancy history
- At least one successful, uncomplicated pregnancy and delivery
- Currently raising at least one child of your own
- No more than two previous caesarean sections, preferred
- Not currently breastfeeding
- At least 6 to 12 months since your last delivery
Lifestyle & support
- Stable living situation and financial security
- A strong support system: family, friends or a partner
- Reliable childcare during medical appointments
- No criminal history
- Willing to complete medical and psychological screening
Legal & documentation
- Valid identification, Ghana Card or passport preferred
- Able to understand and sign legal agreements
- Partner or spouse support, where applicable
- Commitment to following medical protocols
- Willing to keep open communication with intended parents
The process
How to become a surrogate
Nine steps, and you can stop at any point. Nobody is committed to anything until you sign.

Submit application
Fill in the form below with your personal and medical details. It takes a little time, but it tells us early whether this is right for you.

Initial screening
Our coordinator reads your application and calls you within 5 to 7 working days to talk it through.
- 03
Medical evaluation
A full medical check at a partner hospital: a physical examination, blood tests, genetic screening and tests for infections.
- 04
Psychological assessment
You meet a licensed counsellor, on your own, to talk through what this is actually like: the hormones, the nine months, and handing the baby over at the end. It is not there to catch you out. It is there so you go in with your eyes open.

Matching
We introduce you to a family we think suits you, and we tell them about you too. Nobody is matched without agreeing to it, and you will have the chance to meet before anything is signed.

Legal documentation
Your own lawyer goes through the agreement with you. Your compensation, your medical cover and everything else is written down clearly before you sign.

Medical protocol
You start the medication and monitoring, and the fertility specialists guide you through each step up to the embryo transfer.
- 08
Pregnancy & support
Regular check-ups and support throughout the pregnancy, and we stay in touch with you until the baby is born.
- 09
Delivery & beyond
After the birth we look after your recovery and make sure every legal step is completed. Your compensation is paid, and we are still there if you need us.
